Privacy Policy

LexiWatch respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how we share it with service providers, and the choices you have when using LexiWatch.

Data controller

The data controller for LexiWatch is the operator of LexiWatch. Privacy requests can be sent to sarahshen.sg@gmail.com. LexiWatch is available at https://lexiwatch.com/.

Information we collect

We collect account information from Google sign-in, including your name, email address, profile image, and account identifier. We also store imported video records, transcripts, translations, summaries, notes, usage limits, subscription status, billing event identifiers, customer portal access state, support messages you send us, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Payment details such as full card numbers are processed by Waffo Pancake and are not stored on LexiWatch servers. We receive limited billing information such as payment status, order identifiers, subscription status, amount, currency, tax amount, buyer email, and card last four digits when provided by Waffo Pancake.

How we use information

We use personal information to provide and maintain LexiWatch, authenticate users, sync learning data, enforce plan limits, process billing and tax records, provide customer support, prevent abuse and fraud, troubleshoot errors, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.

Cookies and local storage

LexiWatch uses strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember local preferences, cache learning data for app functionality, and support security. You can clear browser storage, but doing so may remove local preferences or cached learning data.

Service providers

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate LexiWatch. Google provides authentication. Cloudflare hosts the application, database, and logs. Supadata retrieves transcripts. DeepSeek generates translations, summaries, and explanations. Waffo Pancake processes subscriptions, applicable taxes, receipts, invoices, refunds, and customer portal access.

We do not sell your personal information. Full payment card data is handled by Waffo Pancake and does not pass through or reside on LexiWatch servers.

Security and retention

We use HTTPS, access controls, Cloudflare platform security features, server-side ownership checks, and secret storage for provider credentials. If a security incident affects your rights, we will notify affected users and regulators where legally required.

Learning data is kept while your account is active unless you delete it from your Profile. Account, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, and security records may be retained for up to seven years where required for legal, accounting, dispute, or compliance purposes. Operational logs are retained only as long as needed for security and debugging.

Your choices and rights

You can delete learning data from your Profile. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection where applicable law provides those rights. We aim to respond to privacy requests within 30 calendar days.

International processing

LexiWatch and its providers may process data in countries including Singapore, the United States, Japan, and other regions where our service providers operate. We rely on provider safeguards and contractual protections for cross-border processing where required.

Children

LexiWatch is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Changes and contact
